On the 25th of each month you can try some of Taos County's best places to eat.  AND your dining out also helps us to continue building a community where our hard-working neighbors can work toward the gift of stability, safety, and self-reliance through affordable shelter.  These establishments have agreed to donate 25% of their proceeds on the 25th of their particular month (see below for list) to Habitat for Humanity of Taos in honor of our 25th anniversary.


 
Thursday, January 25th is La Cocina de Taos.  If you've never tried La Cocina, you're in for a real treat breakfast, lunch or dinner. They have wonderful New Mexican as well as traditional fare.  If you have been, come back for one of your favorites. Thank you La Cocina de Taos and to all of you!  Your meal will help provide decent, affordable shelther in Taos County!

Sunday, February 25th is El Monte Sagrado De La Tierra Restaurant and Anaconda Bar's day. If you haven't had the opportunity to try either of these, get ready to enjoy yourself! De La Tierra serves breakfast-lunch-dinner (7a-9p) and for a casual yet totally dynamic dining experience the Anaconda Bar (2p-10p). If you have been, come back for one of your favorites. Sunday, March 25th - Tim's Stray Dog Cantina is hosting the HFHT day where they donate 25% of their proceeds for the day to us for our 25th Anniversary.  From 8am-9pm take a drive up to the Taos Ski Valley and enjoy this gem in the mountains.  You can sit on the deck, listening to the river below and enjoy their wide variety menu including Northern New Mexican food.  Stray Dog Cantina has been serving delicious Northern New Mexican food and drinks in the Taos Ski Valley for 30 years. They are especially famous for our 100% flame roasted red and green chile. The Margaritas are legendary as well, made with fresh lime juice and agave tequila.

Wednesday, April 25th Quechua Peruvian Restaurant is hosting the donating 25% to HFHT for our 25th Anniversary.  If you have not had a chance to check out this authentic Peruvian restaurant with their authentic Peruvian chef, you are missing out on a cultural treat.  Open from 11a-9p; people are talking about the lomo saltado, delicious cucumber lemonade, hot sauces, very friendly service, quinoa salad, peruvian chef, cultural experience and a great location.  Address is 122 Paseo del Pueblo Sur.  Your meal will help provide decent, affordable shelter in Taos County!  Any questions, please give us at call at 575-758-7827.
